GETAWAY HOUSE COUPLES SESSION

I had SO much fun with Veronica and Noah during their cozy cabin weekend getaway at one of the Getaway House locations in West Michigan.

When Veronica contacted me with her idea I was SO DOWN to tag along on their little weekend adventure. When I arrived we immediately hit it off and spent a good amount of time chatting before I even pulled out my camera to start shooting. I seriously felt like I was hanging with two friends. We started the session off with them roasting some delicious hot s’mores by the fire.—Veronica thought of everything for this session! We then walked along some trails, chatted about how they got together, and made our way back to the cabin for an outfit change and some puppy lovins with their precious pup, Bentley. After some much needed fur baby snuggles Noah and Veronica did another outfit change and we moved to the inside of their cozy little cabin on wheels for some more intimate shots.

The inside of this cabin is small, intimate, and perfect for two lovebirds just wanting some time away. I loved incorporating the giant window overlooking a beautiful wooded area and letting them get comfortable with one another. I was truly a fly on the wall and they made it so easy to capture their love for one another.

They ended the session with some hot cocoa and cuddling on the tailgate of Noah’s truck and it was absolute perfection. My favorite part of their session was that it was more of an experience and I was just there to capture it as it unfolded. They were both so comfortable and natural in front of my camera, it made it so easy for me. It was such a fun day and I can’t wait to work with them again in the future. :)
